What’s MPower all about?
Because we are all busy women with full lives, we understand the need to retreat every now and then to be refreshed and recharged. MPower is just that kind of experience. BUT it is also more. We need to see where God is working. We need to hear where God might be calling us to minister in our communities, around the state or around the world. What might that look like? Am I to continue serving in the same way as someone else or is God calling me to something new?  This event will offer inspiring worship, practical Bible teaching, meaningful prayer experiences, and special opportunities to spend time with old friends and in making new ones.

WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION FEE COVER?
We want to provide a quality experience for those that attend MPower and we want to ensure that everyone receives value for her money. The non-refundable $45 registration fee covers the cost of all program elements, including worship services, break-out conferences, childcare, and the annual meeting of the Montana Southern Baptist Women (MSBW), plus materials and lunch on Friday.

IS MY HOTEL PART OF THE CONFERENCE FEE?
No, housing costs are in addition to the registration fee.

IF I DON’T ATTEND MPower CAN I GET A REFUND?
Because MPower is a cost-recovery event all the money received is spent putting on the event. Therefore, we cannot refund conference fees. However, you are free to transfer your registration to a friend.

WHAT HIDDEN COSTS CAN I EXPECT?
There are no hidden costs at MPower. However, Montana Southern Baptists are engaged in a prayer partnership with missionaries who have Montana ties and who serve in international settings, known as our Montana Sent Missionaries. We collect a special offering, known as the Montana Sent Offering, that is distributed to each of these missionaries at year end.  You are not required to give to this offering. Besides collecting it at MPower, we also collect it at REFRESH [MTSBC Conference in October] and MPACT [statewide training conference in March].

ARE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR THE CONFERENCE FEE?
Regretfully, at this time, the Montana Southern Baptist Women organization is unable to provide scholarships for women attending MPower.  However, if you know of someone that you feel NEEDS to attend this event, send us a message and we will attempt to find a church to sponsor them.

IS CHILDCARE PROVIDED?
South Hills is providing childcare for us.

HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER TO HELP WITH MPower?
Volunteers are needed for setting up on Thursday and for breaking down and cleaning on Saturday afternoon, as well as at other times and tasks during the conference. If you are interested volunteering, contact Tami Park  tmpark01@gmail.com .
